Emma Roodhouse is an art curator and researcher, with a special interest in Suffolk artists and was previously on secondment to Tate working on their Gainsborough 300 exhibition due to open in May 2027. Emma has curated many exhibitions for Colchester and Ipswich Museums, most recently Constable 250, a year of celebrations to mark the 250th anniversary of Constable (2026), which includes a focus on portraits and landscapes; Landscape Rebels: Turner, Constable and Monet (2022) and Creating Constable (2021). Since its formation in 1972 the Brodsky Quartet has performed over 3000 concerts on the major stages of the world and released more than 60 recordings. This year they will be marking the anniversary of Beethoven's death with a series of full cycles of the quartets. We will hear the first and the last.
